Co-painting is a type of collective social participation that relies on artistic creation to enhance interpersonal spiritual dialogue. For this exhibition, we will showcase more than 100 artworks co-created by more than 500 participants of all ages, fields, and nationalities, including college and primary school students. The participants used “language of love cards” and their creative works to enhance spiritual recognition of “their self and others”.
During the pandemic, more exchange has now been required for interpersonal communication, while spiritual education and growth have become even more vital. Through co-painting activities and use of art as the medium, trust and a caring attitude are established towards the discovery of the psychological needs of everyone. In addition, the language of love is activated via the knowledge and experience of five types of love – service, praise, embrace, gifts, and companionship – to facilitate more companionship, care and warmth to society.
